Telephone: 01825 766006
Rachael is a very enthusiastic and personable veterinary surgeon that has a direct and caring approach to her practice. Rachael originally was brought up on her family’s dairy farm in Fletching where her passion for becoming a vet originated.
She qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2005 with a first class degree in Immunology which lead her to the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2010. Having qualified in her degree in veterinary medicine with honours, she worked in a small animal practice in Sussex before deciding to open her own practice in 2015.
Rachael's special interests are analgesia, anaethesia and small animal surgery, both orthopaedics and soft tissue. She is currently in her second year of a post graduate certificate specialising in small animal surgery to offer more modern surgical techniques at the practice. Rachael recently got married to her husband Vinod, which has inspired the new upcoming charity branch The Forest Vet India. Rachael also has an ex-racehorse called Jack, her practice mascot Bertie and a new hamster Tumble Tot. And last but not least, the president of our practice fat fighters club Fu, who still hasn't lost any weight!
